After previously handling the European cassette version of Introducing…, we are excited to once again work with The Shape for the European release of Promo 26.

Over the years, the band has steadily pushed further from the clean shimmer of their synth-pop beginnings into something darker, moodier, and far more immediate. This latest material leans into post-punk with a revitalized energy that feels fresh rather than borrowed, balancing tension, melody, and atmosphere without ever sounding stuck in the past.

With new members now part of the lineup, everything feels more alive and unpredictable. The songs stretch outward, carrying a sharper emotional weight while still holding onto the hooks and identity that made us connect with their music from the start.
