Portland death rock band Excess Blood return with Porcelain Doll, a four-track EP that hits with the urgency of punk and the darker edges of West Coast death rock.

Recorded at Red Lantern Studios, the release pushes forward with tight songwriting, relentless rhythm sections, and guitar work that swings between sharp melodic lines and jagged riffs that feel seconds away from coming apart. There’s a physicality to these songs that feels immediate and unfiltered, as if everything was captured exactly as it happened.

Tracks like “Turned to Stone” and “Cathedral Park” hit with the kind of intensity that comes from a band completely locked into itself—raw in the right places and deliberate where it matters.
