Between those two extremes lies the uneasy space at the heart of eX-Tradition. Drawing equally from deathrock, post-punk, and anarcho-punk, these songs wrestle with faith, morality, violence, doubt, and the cost of holding fast to one’s convictions. Rather than offering answers, they invite reflection, reminding us that every generation inherits its own conflicts, but the questions at their core rarely change. History has a way of repeating itself, leaving each generation to wrestle with the same fears, the same doubts, and the same impossible choices.

It’s through that lens that The Holy Pervert and Apocalyptic Silver feel most complete. Heard together, they reveal a body of work shaped by the tension between the world we inherit and the truths we choose for ourselves. Each release deepens the other, giving greater weight to the questions that have always been at the heart of these songs.
