Bleached Cross has always existed in the space where tension and atmosphere collide, pulling equally from post-punk, industrial abrasion, and emotionally charged hardcore. With Wrath, the Chicago outfit pushes further into that darkness, delivering a record that feels both expansive and suffocating in equal measure.

There’s a physical quality to these songs. They drift between clarity and obscurity, never staying in one place long enough to become comfortable. The record moves like a dream you can still remember in fragments days later, leaving behind impressions that feel vivid even when the details have faded.

That tension between memory and absence runs throughout the album. Moments of despair and reflection give way to something more complicated: the realization that loss changes you, but does not have to define you. That said, there’s no triumph here. No easy answers. Just a band confronting grief head-on and finding something deeply human within it.
